G’Vine Gin Announce Winners Of Their Global Perspective Challenge

Launched across the globe to inspire bartenders to create something unconventional and pay homage to extraordinary people, G’Vine’s Global Perspective Challenge have announced the eleven talented winners who are now about to embark on one hell of a once in a lifetime, gastronomic trip to France.
Challenging bartenders from around the world, this competition required individuals to create a cocktail and make a short video celebrating someone who has inspired them, driven their craft or changed their perspective of the world. Supported by leading industry names from around the globe, Gaz Regan, Ryan Chetiyawardana of White Lyan, Alex Kratena of Artesian and Jason Crawley of Australia’s The Drink Cabinet, this was a challenge worth getting involved in.
Over 100 entries were submitted and winners were picked on creativity, use of ingredients, inventive naming, and most importantly; the story behind their inspiration, and G'Vine wanted to celebrate the diverse mix of individuals who had amazing, unconventional concepts to their creation.
So without further a due, a with a drum roll, here are the eleven accomplished and worthy winners:

Mexico: Osvaldo Vazquez, Thompson The Cape. Cocktail: 1940
These triumphant eleven will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gastronomic trip to France, hosted by brand owner and master distiller Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, as well as cocktail luminaries Phil Duff, Gaz Regan, Alex Kratena and Andy Gemmel. Designed to offer a unique money-can’t-buy experience, the trip includes activities that evoke the Challenge’s alternative perspectives ethos. The trip will see the Perspectives victors explore France’s famed wine and spirits regions, a cooking workshop at a Michelin-starred restaurant, spirit tastings, a hot air balloon ride, a nosing masterclass with a leading Parisian perfumier, a cocktail discovery tour in Paris and a private tasting of Gin 1495. Well, what a bloody prize!
